Heat 11 Re run after Makovsky fell on the 4th bend, excluded from the re run. In the re run, Stancl and Leverington made the gate. Terenzani followed close behind but never close enough to be a real threat. 31-35 (68.7)

Heat 12 Ekberg was first from the gate as he left the other 3 riders. Thorp slowly reeled Ekberg in until he caught and tried to pass him on the back straight of the final lap. But Ekberg held on for the win. Roynon finished 3rd ahead of Giffard. 33-39 (67.9)
Heat 13 Sanchez finished off his jumpy night with another tapes offence so decided to go off 15m. Parker made the gate followed by team mate, Stancl. Makovsky drew level a few times before dropping back. Sanchez passed Makovsky then set his sights on Stancl. Sanchez never gave up until he passed Stancl on the line to collect 2nd place. 35-43 (68.9)
Heat 14 Kramer and Terenzani give Hull a slim hope of a draw on the night by collecting a 5-1 ahead of Cockle and Kristensen. 40-44 (68.6)
Heat 15 Kramer showed us a glimpse of the Kramer we grew to love last year as he shot from the gate leaving the rest for dust. Ekberg slipped into second with Thorp all over him.

Thorp tried everything as he kept drawing level but Ekberg just had that little bit more speed down the straights so Hull had to settle for their second defeat of the season. Parker finished last. 44-46 (68.2)
I can't help but feel the team spirit is slipping away from us. That's the feeling on the terrace anyway. All this talk about money troubles and the Hull KR business cannot be helping. But I have to be fair to Glasgow; they came, did their job, and did it well enough not only to beat us on aggregate but also beating us on the night.
Again we had a guest who was very disappointing but this time also a guest who showed real promise. If it's true that we may sign Daniel Giffard for the rest of the season, I for one would be very happy. I think once used to Craven Park, could give visiting reserves a real run for their money.

Just to finish of. What a little cracker Stefan Ekberg is! Why can't Hull ever find a rider like him?

Sports - The Beverley 2k Fun Run By Eleanor Smith Age 7 and Eleanor's Mum
I thought the Fun Run was very tiring but I tried to carry on. My Mum and my brother's friend Ross were doing it too. I wish I could do the big run when I'm older. The 2003 Beverley 10 k was , at 44 , my first attempt at any sort of competitive running for about 30 years. Sports - The Beverley 10k Run - Sunday 15th May 05
By Jonathan Rollison
The Beverley 10k - what a fantastic morning - well done Beverley Athletics Club! This was my first ever running event since school - 26 years ago. The main highlight was to see my 11 year old in the fun run come storming back into the main arena at full tilt looking determined to get a few places up the field in the 2k race. He admitted later that he started the home sprint too early, but Read more...

Why do I love speedway? My Dad used to go before I was born. As I started getting older I went more often. But I remember I was four when I first started to go. Sports, Football - In Reply To Football Sugar Daddies - Helping or Killing (By Steve Everett) By Gareth Marshall
First of all, I have to concede that I actually agree with Steve about the crux of his article.
