Glen Jarman did the same as David Howells; came in too fast and a nice bit of sideways. Car 42, Steve Blunt was sideways all the way through the corner in the Evo 4. Robert Powell had a substantial lock up coming into the corner losing him a lot of corner speed. Rob Price had a great side in his Peugeot 205. Philip Welch went one better however and did a 180°, losing a good 5 seconds. Then after a few more cars it was the end of the stage.

2 Hours later and with a new position it was time for the 1400's once more.

This time I was earlier into the stage at an artificially tightened right hander. Weaver was struggling for grip but still he was putting in an exceptional drive. Mad Malcolm Hague was once more very sideways on the exit of the corner - he's always worth the money. After a few more cars The MG ZR Supercup's Graham Roberts looked to be having some form of problems with a lot of tyre smoke.

Mark Gamble between the last time we saw him earlier in the day had even more damage with the front bumper missing. With only around 10 1400 cars left, I slowly started to make my way to the position for the main field. The new position was a fast left with lots of water on the inside of the turn. The first car this time was Hugh Hunter in the Escort WRC. Hugh seemed to slow down mid way through the corner to avoid aquaplaning while Martin Healer in another Escort WRC managed to get the car very sideways through the water splash. Warren Philiskirk was a long way down the field after an accident on one of the stages. Steve Bannister got the car slightly sideways through the water.

Sports - Sunday 18th September 1.00pm - American Football Returns To Its Roots In Hull!

	The new Hull Hornets A.F.T have agreed a deal with the Ennerdale Sports Centre, Sutton Road, Hull. The Hull-City-council-owned centre last staged a competitive American football game in the late 1980s, when the city's former team the Kingston Liberators played at the site, although many people still associate the Ennerdale complex with American football in the city.
