Burning Issues - Was 9/11 the greatest show on earth?
By Martin Deane

Flight 93 was shot down
For the fourth flight, the official story goes passengers fought back against the hijackers and the plane crashed in a field. The debris however, lies not in a field, but over a 6-8 mile area indicating an air explosion. At that time, in that area, a van driver was overflown by a plane she describes as white but definitely military. Shortly afterwards she saw an explosion.

|
A retired colonel, his third book on 911 now completed, said this February, that 93 was definitely shot down by sidewinder missiles from a fighter jet flying out of North Dakota Air Base. The "Happy Hooligans" are quoted as the best interceptors in the country and they were sent by their base commander, presumably over-riding a stand down order..

So now steel-structure buildings collapse due to fire?
Until 9/11 (nor since) no steel constructed building has ever collapsed from fire. The firefighter's tape (which was released), talks about them needing two hoses to bring down the north tower fire. There was no question of the building's lack of soundness. The buildings collapsed as if they had been professionally demolished with explosives, straight down dropping within their own footprint.
|
|
Other survivors and firemen report a number of explosions. Floor after floor came down as if in freefall, meeting distinctly no resistance from the floors below. In early reports firemen said they had seen explosives in the building. CNN has pictures of a large 500 foot cloud at ground level before the first collapse (of the south tower, WTC-2). The buildings were designed and built to withstand an airliner crash. They had stood for 30 years with no problem. WTC-2 collapsed sooner than WTC-1 despite being hit second, and at a corner, and not full on like the plane which hit WTC-1. The actual heat generated from a jet crash - under ideal conditions - would have been a fraction needed to melt structural steel, even without their heat resistant coverings. The BBC graphic showed just 4 supporting steel columns when in actuality there were 44. This doesn't help.
Seismology from that day, from Columbia University, shows a huge spike of short duration just before the collapse of each tower. This indicates a huge explosion underground. This would compromise the whole structural integrity of the building.
Other lesser seen photographs and video do seem to show explosions on other floors which would fit with a controlled demolition. Satellite imagery still shows molten steel (v. high temp), a week and more later, below ground level under the debris - where there is no oxygen.
Six weeks previously, a Mr Silverstein had bought the entire world trade complex for $3.2 billion. Later that afternoon, Mr Silverstein is on record (PBS radio) as having instructed the fire department to "pull" WTC-7 building, ie carry out a controlled explosive demolition. However, the official story remains that it too collapsed (again pancake fashion, straight down) due to being hit by debris, and compromised by fire, even thought there is very little evidence of anything that would really have threatened the building.
The concrete disintegrated into dust not chunks of rubble. The explosive thermite has this effect. The buildings looked like fountains as they came down. The debris was hardly analysed. It was carted away for weeks afterwards without forensic analysis. Official investigators were held up for hours at Ground Zero, but demolition crews had instant access..

Obstruction
The 9/11 Commission, chosen by the Executive (ie the President), itself was
obstructed by senior administration officials.
Firemen's tapes, air traffic controllers' tapes, radar records, contents of
flight black boxes, are being kept secret.
The amount spent on investigating the Lewinski affair
(whether Clinton "did not have sex with that woman") was $40 million. The amount
spent on the 9/11 investigation was $600,000.
Many investigators worked part-time or at weekends.

|
Almost every aspect of the official story starts to crumble to bits
once you start to look into it. The 9/11 Truth movement is becoming one of the biggest in American civil activist history. A Zogby poll recently showed 50% of New Yorkers believe the government had a hand in making or allowing 9/11 happen. That number is only going to grow. And don't worry if you reject all this, the truth isn't going to go away, the evidence will remain and expand, and what really happened will only become clearer with each passing month. This means that we have been conned and conned again, and that soldiers have lost their lives for oil, and for empire, and for a lie. And the question remains - What are we going to do about it?

Does intelligence help us? By Robin Ramsay.

Michael Moore's film Fahrenheit-9/11 is great propaganda but, like all propaganda, it isn't about
the truth. In a section mocking the so-called "Coalition of the willing" which supported the
US invasion of Iraq, Moore listed several very small countries - but omitted Australia,
the UK and others. For Australia

International Contradictions and Hypocrisies By Andrew Martin |

After reading the British government's pre-war dossiers on WMDs anyone with the slightest hint of intelligence
would have concluded that the ability of Iraq to pose a serious threat to the world was minimal.
The evidence in these documents was thin,

In Reply To - A letter from Pablo Gonzales to his MP Alan Johnson, By Rt Hon Alan Johnson MP.
|
|
Dear Mr Gonzalez,
Thank you for your thoughtful and considered letter of 17th July.
I have thought constantly about the decision I made to vote for this country to go to war on March 18th 2003. It was of course the first time that a decision to go to war had not been made by royal prerogative.

Iraq and the Butler Report - a letter from Pablo Gonzales to his MP Alan Johnson |

Having caught a glimpse of you yesterday afternoon at Hull Central Library prompted me to write this letter, and my thoughts about the Iraq war.
The publication of the Butler Report has made clear that Mr Blair was openly dishonest when he chose to highlight only the elements of the intelligence available

Have you herd the one about Sainsburys ? By Louise, Greenpeace, Hull.

On Saturday 17th July activists from Hull joined campaigners from all over the region
to converge on Sainsburys in Sunderland.
Whilst six of us chained ourselves to the milk aisle, the rest, dressed as cows and milkmen
gathered outside the store to highlight the fact that Sainsburys own brand milk
comes from cows fed on GM

Tony Blair lives, David Kelly dies By Martin Deane

Lord Hutton was chosen by Blair. Lord Hutton was given his brief by Blair. Lord Hutton has whitewashed the Government and scapegoated the BBC. Blair conned us to go to war and the Hutton Report is a smokescreen.
Hutton was a major event in itself, but the real issue is - and remains - responsibility for war. Today no blame

America - no magic rabbit to pull out of the Iraqi hat By Martin Deane
|

I heard a story recently. A Labour MP met with Blair over Iraq.
Tony asked how things were in his constituency.
He replied "I've had 3 letters in support of the war - and 350 against!"
Blair, unfazed, said "Don't worry, the people will forget once the war is over."
We want UK troops out of Iraq. Get them out. Bring them home. End this monstrosity of lending
