On Saturday 15 March, I went to the Stop the War Coalition joined with the Campaign for
Nuclear Disarmament and the British Muslim Initiative in calling a national demonstration
in London, as part of the worldwide day of protest against George Bush's wars on
the fifth anniversary of the Iraq invasion, when there will be demonstrations from
Washington to Beirut, from Sydney to Seoul.
Police in London said there were 10,000 on the streets but organizers the
Stop the War Coalition put the crowds at between 40,000 to 50,000.

Former Labour Party MP Tony Benn said Britain's involvement in Iraq, where the
country has 4,100 troops, and Afghanistan, where it has 7,800, had caused "devastation."
The Green Party's member of the European Parliament, Caroline Lucas, called for
former British prime minister Tony Blair and his successor Gordon Brown to be prosecuted
for war crimes.

"They need to know you cannot bomb your way to peace," she said.

Green Party Conference 2008, it's the end of the first day, so I am publishing

Good Luck to the Greens, hopefully they will deliver a new type of honest politics with
regard to the environment.
I still wish they would focus on exposing the truth about the 7/7 london Bombings
and not simply brush the event under the carpet. Anyway heres my pics.
