VOTE YOU FOOLS (1/2) by Lee Cassanell

(1/2), (2/2).

On this island ruled by a shadowy government fuelled by spin, lies, corruption and let's be honest...a bottomless pit of bullshit...it falls upon us, the little people to try and change the way things work whenever we are given the rare opportunity to write a cross on a ballot paper and vote for someone slightly less inept then the person who went before. Today, May 3rd 2007 is one of those opportunities and far be it from me to tell you which way you should cast your vote...but hey...I'm going to do it anyway because it will save you the time to research and make an intellectual decision based on party policies and you can slope off back to your Coronation Street marathon which I would so hate for you to miss.

Basically the rundown goes like this: Labour Right wing agenda, Iraq, David Kelly, 7/7, the Brazilian chap shot in the head 7 times, Tony Blair being a religious head case, cash for honours, weapons of mass destruction, a war protest half a million strong that made no difference what so ever, nuclear weapons upgrades, toll charges, identity cards, smoking ban...etc

Conclusion Only a person with a brain the size of a Mayfly would vote labour. It's not the left wing party we all knew and loved, those days are long gone so for all you ex miners and old socialists out there who vote labour as a matter of working class course, you're an idiot and if you want the certificate to prove it I'll gladly draw you one up and post it at your earliest convenience.

Conservative They don't even deserve an explanation Conclusion The party of the rich which constantly masquerades itself as the party of the people. I would sooner have Ming the Merciless as Prime Minister then David Cameron any day of the week.

The Liberals It's all bit too wishy washy really. Vague policies, no real leaders with any fresh ideas and they sit on the fence so much I'm surprised they don't go into the cushion business. Conclusion To be fair they haven't had a real chance to flex themselves as they have never been in government but even so they offer nothing radical under the sun and all they do is take bits of Labour and Conservative policies, roll them up into a big cigarette and blow it straight back in our socially unconscious faces
