Poetry
Involved 23
By Matthew Tasker

DARK ARCHES
EVERYWHERE
BUILDINGS
MINDS
BODIES
SYMBOLS OF DESPAIR
PLACES OF WARMTH
COMFORT
PEACE
RELEASE
DISEASE
     THEY HAVE
     INSPIRED
     TERRIFIED
     AWED
     GRIEVED
     ELECTRIFIED
     SLEEVED
     PLEASED

         DARK ARCHES
         HOLD BEAUTY
         DARK ARCHES
         OF FLUIDITY
THEY COVER
LOVE
HATE
SEX
PEOPLE
RUBBISH
ANIMALS
THE STRONG
AND FEEBLE
WOOD
METAL
DOGSHIT
CRUSHED PETALS
WATER
PAGES
CORPSES
THEY ARE WORN BY DREYHORSES

         ARCHES OF DARKNESS
         OF ALL THEY CAN BE
          I LIKE THEIR HARDNESS
         BUT THE DARK DISTURBS ME
UNDER DARK ARCHES
BOWED HEADS
BEDSTEADS
EYES
SMILES
STRANGERS IN DISGUISE
SHOES
CLUES
NEWSPAPER
BRUISE
MANY
FEW
COUNT THEM
COUNT YOU

     BENEATH DARK ARCHES
     NEEDLES
     COUGHS
     MEANING,LOSS
     WARMTH
     HAIR
     RUBBER
     AIR
     DARK ARCHES INVOLVED
     EVERYWHERE

Poetry - "OCTOBER MOON" By Nikki Sheppeck
A beckoning dark October sky,

Poetry - "Needle Whore" and "Divorce Number 2"
By Rich Mills
Down the corridor and through the door,
There lives nothing more than a needle whore.
All his pathetic rock-star dreams,

With song lyrics full of false metaphor,
   He's a one-man psychological war.

Drink at work,
drink at school.
Drink in the pub,
