Always that way
By The Lazyswede
|
The door closed for the last time
Washing still hung on the line
It rained heavy on that day
That's my life always that way
Is there someone there up above?
Watching my every move
Making sure that I always lose
Trying my patience everyday
I bought six eggs yesterday
They all hatched in my fridge today
Just my luck they're all cocks what a shame
But that's my life always that way
|
|
If I bought a rose it would end up a weed
If I found a lover she would only leave
If I had a heart it would only bleed
But that's my life I never succeed
Cause I was born on the wrong side of the fence
Aint got no feelings aint got no sense
Rain always pours on a sunny day
But that's my life always that way

Many a night a knight will rescue you
But that’s not me my love
I am his proud white stead below
Speed you from the darkness with
Love written across my flank
And every mile I run

I would ride madness

Poetry - "OCTOBER MOON" By Nikki Sheppeck
|
|
A beckoning dark October sky,
That bares a crescent moon to shine,
Amongst a star lit evening sky,
A clarity so clear so calm
Sets a scene from tree tops high.
Enchanted by angelic skys,

Poetry - "Needle Whore" and "Divorce Number 2"
|
|
By Rich Mills
Down the corridor and through the door,
There lives nothing more than a needle whore.
All his pathetic rock-star dreams,
Are slowly coming apart at the seams.
With song lyrics full of false metaphor,
He's a one-man psychological war.

Poetry - Drink, by Shelly D.

|
Drink in the morning,
drink at night.
Drink in the dark,
drink in the light.
Drink from the bottle,
drink from the can.
Drink like a fish,
as only you can.

Drink at work,
drink at school.
Drink in the pub,
drink like a fool.
Drink while you're dancing,
drink when you're stoned.
Drink at your wedding,
drink 'cos your boyfriend never phoned.

Where you were once in pains embrace,
But from that spot you ventured forth
