An Interview With Torso Horse continued
By Steve Rudd
prev page

Do you think the music scene in and around Bridlington, and East Yorkshire at large, has changed much over the past five years while you have been song-writing, recording and performing?

Don't really know much about what goes on in Bridlington, except I don't think anybody has told them that Elvis is dead yet. Hull where James are drummer is from seems much the same as it did when we played our first gig there three years ago.
Do you have any plans to film any more music videos this year?

Ther will be a new single from the Invisible Enemy fairly soon and we will be filming the promo for that. The recording company seem pretty keen on us releasing a DVD, so more filming will be inevitable.

Is there any chance that you may be able to get onto any of 2005's festival line-ups, such as at the Download weekend of metal?

Who knows? It would be great if the opportunity did arise.
When it comes to song-writing, what do you work on first: lyrics or music?

Usually music, unless something else inspires me to write lyrics before hand.

Of all your songs, is there one that you are the most proud of over all the rest?
Probably Dragging Me Down because it was the song that steered the band's music in this direction.

What else have we got to look forward to from the Torso Horse crew in 2005?

Hey Steve, who knows what tomorrow might bring? Every day sees new challenges. These are exciting times, but we still have so much to offer.
