They chose Fred Sonic Smith from Mc5 on rhythm guitar, a second rhythm guitar was added later when mentor Dickie Hammond of Dr. Bison joined the group. On lead guitar, and this was a point of great controversy; Josh Homme of QOTSA eventually took the honours. Having Lemmy on bass was an easy decision as was getting Blackie Onnassis of Urge Overkill to play drums. After a little discussion, Ted McKenna from the Sensational Alex Harvey Band slid behind the keyboards and then the rather dead Jerry Garcia was raised ungratefully to his feet to play peddle steel. With some more heavy thought the guys went for Phil Lynott on lead vocals.

They then decided they needed a girl in the band so went for Chantelle from Do Me Bad Things to accompany Phil on vocals. Sly and the Family Stone were called in to make up the horn section, as was Charlie Parker for saxophone, more spirits were consumed as Miles Davis was asked to play trumpet. Somebody's sister was roped in to play the kazoo but after that it turned into a bit of a free for all.

They named the group Blind Pig, don't know why but everyone seemed pleased with the name and the line up. This is a great game to play with your friends when you are on the way to Smashedville. Hey why don't you email in your own choices for a super-group and we will publish the best ones. This small club down De Grey Street is where everlasting memories are formed, which then last a lifetime. Halcyon days indeed. Check out the band's website at www.tokyodragons.com
