Have you got any advice for any aspiring world travellers who haven't as yet dared to leave UK shores?
First of all you have to decide what you're interested in. Culture, adventure, wildlife, mountains, the jungle, the ocean, beaches. Some prefer the Western World, others the Eastern, some prefer the Polar Regions, others (like me) the Tropics.
Once you've decided, go for it and never look back. Every day is a new and enthralling experience and you'll never regret it.
After you've roved around India, where do you plan on going next?
I would like to go coast to coast across the States.
How can people keep up to date with your travels, and where can they purchase a copy of 'Backpacking with a Bunion'?
I keep a log on Facebook, also on Bebo. My book can be purchased from AuthorHouse, Amazon and other on-line retailers.
Finally, which countries do you hope to visit in 2009?
After India, I'm not too sure - maybe Sri Lanka or Thailand again, or the Philippines or Fiji. The American option looks good, too.
