In a recent article for The Big Issue, you wrote that political correctness is undermining and censoring ordinary working-class people's humour. Do you think this could be the start of a working-class backlash against the cult of PC?
The backlash is already beginning.
My article coincided with the publication of a report by the influential Rowntree Trust.
This stated that up to 25% of working people were considering voting for the BNP. I watched people on the news that day talking about how their culture was being destroyed. I saw this years ago, because remember I come from two worlds.
Political correctness is a creation of New Labour and many of us saw the dangers of the
New Labour project from the days of its creation.
This is because New Labour was created on what many of us ex-Labour members call the
Meddlesome Myth, so called after Peter Meddlesome.
The premise of new Labour worked on this principle, and it is crude, and unfortunately true. The myth is this. That working class people have always voted Labour and always will, and that if we move to right-of-centre politics the heartlands are so stupid they will not notice it. But, the middle classes will.
We will keep the vote of the heartland because they are programmed to vote Labour. But we will also not only be able to take the middle ground, but also take the centre-right ground as well. It worked like a charm. But here is the flaw - because New Labour is basically a right wing Tory Party, this has confused the heartland voter.
For instance my own mother is a heartland voter and her is attitude is this -
Yes, I know they are not Labour any more, but I've always voted Labour.
My mother- in-law and father-in-law are also just like my mum.
My father in-law sits there and slags the Labour Party off for being a bunch of Tories
then he goes out and votes for them.
When I asked him why, he said Because we always vote Labour. This of course is very clever politics by New Labour, but it is also flawed politics because that leaves a vacuum in the heartlands, and that vacuum was never considered in the planning of the New Labour project. My father-in-law now shouts another with anger that he might vote for another party. Yes, you've guessed it, The British National Party.
Now consider this. The people who created the New Labour Project are also the same people now who promote the PC agenda that is creating so much anger in the grass roots, because it is attacking the core of British culture.
Today we now see that the mask has finally slipped off New Labour and we see them for what they are. A bunch of mind game political tricksters.
These people without morality that do not mind deception and telling us outright lies, are the ones promoting a PC agenda. In other words, immoral and deceitful people are promoting and imposing on us their values and attitudes.
The track record of New Labour experiments are not good and if the PC agenda goes the same way as the New Labour project is going, then we are all in for big trouble. Society will not recover quickly if this social experiment goes wrong, and the consequences could well be traumatic.
You do not promote an agenda for equality in society by alienating the indigenous population of this country.
Also with events around New Labour this week, do you consider that these immoral and deceitful people really have any right to tell us how to live when their own standards in public political life have descended to the sewer?

A month ago, Dan Tom and Si (AKA Black Wire) were simply three hot guys in a

life and a million times hotter than you could ever dream!
Their set was simply awesome, and more than a fitting support to The Cribs.

People, Interviews - Interview with Tokyo Dragons By Michelle Dee
Tokyo dragons are definitely not like The Smiths, lets just clear that one up.
They play a brand of loud ballsy U.S. rock circa 1995, maybe like G.n'R. or
Aerosmith with a bit of Kiss thrown in.
It's been a while since I checked out the mainstream rock scene.
These guys have been going for four years and hail from N.W. London
