I mean really. If the likes of Vishnu, Buddha, Zeus, Jehovah and Mohammed are so wise do you really think they'd advocate senseless violence because some newspaper printed a few satirical pictures? I doubt they would and if they did, then why worship a figure or deity who obviously lacks a good sense of humour? We're all in the same boat just trying to keep afloat, but extreme religious beliefs will weigh us down and sink us to the bottom unless we all open our eyes a little wider.

These things divide us and it's not case of Muslims or Christians being right or wrong, bad or good. There is an old saying in Yorkshire - If you're ok, you're ok by me - and I think that's a perfect way to look at the world, because for me it means I don't care if you're black, white, gay, straight, Muslim, Jewish, rich or poor, be anything and everything you want to be. Just don't be a c**t.
