Blair Is No Churchillian Statesman By David Sloan

Every day now we read more and more New Labour sleaze stories. Cash for knighthoods, offshore accounts for ministers, weapons of mass destruction which never existed to name but a few. I could go on with tough on crime, and the causes of crime. When magistrates have now been told not to even jail offenders. You can rob, rape or kill by dangerous driving and expect no more than a suspended sentence. Illegal immigration is totally out of control with millions working on the fringes of society, existing in a criminal subculture.

The political correctness cancer also goes relentlessly marching on, with all the other rubbish spouted by New Labour. Have we no more true statesmen left in this country? If Churchill were alive today what would he make of New Labour? Imagine the scenario if this lot had been in power during the Second World War. The home secretary admitted today in the House of Commons, he has no idea how many German storm-troopers are already in the country illegally.

If any are found they will be disarmed and asked to make their way to the nearest detention centre, for detainees of unresolved political conflict. Meaning prisoner-of-war camp, to us non-politically-correct. After a series of humiliating defeats on our British forces, it has now been decided that the policy of positive discrimination, choosing our generals from a diverse ethnic background isn't working. In future all ranks will be promoted on merit and merit alone.

Tony Blair has said even at this late stage in the war he hoped to find a Third Way with Hitler. Adolf replied the Third Reich was his Third Way. I could go on and on with this scenario, I'm sure there are many funnier ones, but to be serious we wouldn't have stood a chance with today's politicians, would we. Churchill wouldn't know whether to laugh or cry. I think he'd cry.
