Write to Speak, Yorkshire's first theatre based spoken word night, returns to the studio space at Hull Truck theatre for its third season on Wednesday 1st September, with Ian McMillan -Talking Myself Home Talking Myself Home is Yorkshire poet, comedian and broadcaster Ian McMillan's life story in poems, and a portrait of Darfield, near Barnsley, a place mentioned (briefly) in the Domesday book, now trying to reinvent itself after the wholesale closure of the mining industry. Ian is poet-in-residence for The Academy of Urbanism and Barnsley FC.

He's UK Trade & Investment's Poet, Yorkshire TV's Investigative Poet and Humberside Police's Beat Poet. Ian is Visiting Professor at Bolton University, and he's an honorary doctor of Sheffield Hallam University, North Staffs Polytechnic and most recently University Centre Barnsley.

News Former Ballerina Stars for Williamsons By Julian Woodford
	Former dancer Gemma Foster has swapped Drury Lane for Chancery Lane and become a fully qualified solicitor. Ms Foster, a trainee at Williamsons Solicitors since 2008, has been appointed to the Hull firm's family department following a two-year training contract. News - Funding Support to Help Create 70 New Jobs in Hull
	Panaloc Worldwide Manufacturing Ltd has relocated from Manchester to a 100,000sq ft manufacturing facility on Kingston International Business Park, with the help of economic development company Hull Forward. Regional grant funding of up to £258,000 has been secured which will enable Panaloc to develop its business in Hull, potentially creating up to 70 new full and part-time jobs in research, design, manufacturing, assembly and support. News - Missing Hull Man - Police Appeal for Information
	Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of Alexander Spence, a missing Hull man who was last seen on Princes Avenue on a night out with friends at around 10.30pm on Saturday. Alexander is white, 5ft 7ins tall and of slim build. He has short, fair hair and was last seen wearing a blue checked short sleeved shirt, dark blue jeans and black shoes.
