Recorded live at the studio space at Hull Truck Theatre on June 29th 2009 as part
of The Humber Mouth Literature Festivale, featuring Luke Wright, Joe Hakim and Mike Watts,
this is the first in a series of recordings showcasing the best national poetry/spoken
Luke Wright: 4Talent award winner Luke Wright might just be the hardest working man in poetry.
A Poet's Work is Never Done is Wright's third consecutive Edinburgh Fringe show and the most
poetry-packed to date.

Joe Hakim: A poet/spoken word performer from Hull. In 2008 he was selected to take part
in Apples and Snakes pioneering Incubate programme, and was commissioned by the
Battersea Arts Centre to create Guerrilla Poetry Project, which was performed as part
of their BURST festival in May 2009. Most recently Joe performed in the main poetry
arena at this year's Latitude Festival.

Mike Watts: Mike Watts is a poet/spoken word performer from Hull.
Along with Joe Hakim, he is the co-host and organiser of Write to Speak,
Yorkshire's first theatre based spoken word night. In August 2008 he performed
Poetry is Dead at the Camden Fringe festival and worked in collaboration with Joe Hakim
in the Guerrilla Poetry Project at Battersea Arts Centre in May 2009.

Fluff (aka Psycho), a blue budgie, escaped from West Hull on Tuesday the 25th August, at approximately 9am. She has a blue belly, black and grey patterned wings, white head and brown nose.

News, Community - Hull University Mental Health Students Raising Money to Travel to Uganda
Local Mental Health Nursing students Carolyn Park-Young, Chloe Grannon and
Danielle Holmes are raising funds to help them travel to Uganda in March 2010 to take part in an international nursing placement at Mbarara hospital.
Hull University has a long established teaching link with Mbarara hospital but this will be the first time that students from Hull's Mental Health nursing department will travel to Uganda to observe their Mental

Most pregnant women who are diagnosed with swine flu will show the same seasonal symptoms as seasonal flu - headache, cough, sore throat and fever.
