The Department of Health Funding

The Department of Health is reviewing all funding and investment to third sector organisations. This includes primary grant funding streams; Section 64 General Scheme of Grants and Opportunities for Volunteering, and other funding through contracts.
In response to this, the Department of Health are inviting Third Sector Organisations and other interested stakeholders to comment on the consultation document, which aims to develop a strategic framework for the Department of Health's investment in the Third Sector.

The Consultation closes on 20 March 2008 and workshops will take place throughout the country. The workshops in our region will take place on:
25 January at Bodington Hall, Leeds University, Leeds (part of the Yorkshire and Humber BME panel annual conference)
19 February at Bar Convent, York
21 February at St Georges Centre, Leeds
