HERIB and The Great North Run - Sunday 5th October 08

Calling all runners and aspiring runners, HERIB, your local charity for blind and partially sighted people, have 15 GUARANTEED PLACES for The Great North Run and are looking for volunteers to undertake this inspiring challenge!

The Great North Run is the most popular half marathon in the world, and one of the most exciting events in the sporting calendar. In 2008 this wonderful event will take place on Sunday 5th October, starting in Newcastle city centre and finishing 13.1 miles later in South Shields.

With its uniquely vibrant atmosphere, huge crowds of supporters, and a bustling charity village, the Great North Run is a fun and rewarding way to challenge yourself, get fit, and support your local charity for blind and partially sighted people.
With only 15 places available it is vital that you contact us NOW with a minimum sponsorship of £300 it is an opportunity not to be missed!
