Share Your Hull Experiences for Print and the Stage
|
Local playwright and author Dave Windass is gathering stories for inclusion
in several pieces of work that aim to tell the story of Hull through the eyes
of people who live in the City.
Members of the public have three opportunities to share their stories with the
writer this week, at a series of informal sessions at the following venues:
|
|
|
Tuesday 2nd December
Freedom Centre, Preston Road, Hull - 12.30pm until 4pm
Wednesday 3rd December
1st Avenue Community Centre, Orchard Park, Hull -12.30pm until 4pm
Thursday 4th December
Lonsdale Community Centre, Lonsdale Street, Hull - 12.30pm until 4pm
|
|
In conjunction with Hull's Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) ONE HULL, the collected stories will
be considered for inclusion in a small booklet, an interactive CD-Rom and, subsequently,
a large-scale community play for performance in 2009 as part of the City's Local Area Agreement
(LAA), which prioritises goals and gives responsibility to key partners for improving the
quality of life for local people.
