More Children Die in Gaza

In two days last week, 33 Palestinians in Gaza were been killed by the USA funded Israeli army.

One quarter of those killed were children, ages ranging from 5 months old to 14 years old. I've seen hardly any news coverage of this- a little on the BBC website, a little on the channel 4 news- can you imagine the coverage if it had been 33 dead Israelis or 33 dead Europeans?
In addition, due to the continued siege and decreasing amounts of energy being supplied to the Gaza strip an alert went out telling residents to boil all water before drinking as it now may be toxic.

I'm so sad that our journalists feel that this isn't news worthy. 33 lives taken and the collective punishment of 1.4 million people who were already living under military occupation/dictatorship sanctioned by our governments.
I'm not asking you to write to your MPs or go on any marches (such as the one in London on 15th March) although I'd be happy(er) if you did! All I'm asking is that you read the list of names at the bottom of this email as a little reminder that they are humans like the rest of us, deserving of our sorrow and respect. AND to bear in mind the huge distortion of the facts we receive next time the subject of Israel or Palestine is raised in your home or work place.

Be brave, question the acceptance of 33 dead people in two days.
The targeting of children
In Amer Project area west of Jabalia in the northern part of the Gaza Strip Israeli soldiers fired a shell at children playing in the area and killed three. They were identified as Bilal HIjazi, 13, Suleiman Hamada, 12 and Anas Al Mana'ma, 10.

Four more children were killed in Jabalia in another shelling which targeted an area close to Al Salaam Mosque. The four were identified as Deeb Dardouna, 11, Omar Dardouna, 14, Ali Dardouna, 8 and Mohammad Hammouda, 7. Their bodies were severely mutilated.
A five-month infant was killed when the Israeli Air Froce shelled the Ministry of Interior in Gaza city and damaged a number of houses. The child was identified as Mohammad Nasser Al Bor'ey, 5 months.

Following is a list of residents killed in the recent Israeli military violations:
