City Works: Your Free Publicity Opportunity!
|
City Works is a Neighbourhood Renewal Funded (NRF) project that offers a
free advisory service to local residents within the HU1-HU9 postcode areas
of Hull seeking to gain opportunities in employment and/or training within the local area.
As well as offering a walk-in service at their premises, City Works also
actively attends and holds Job Fairs and Road Shows in order to give everyone
access to the information and advice that they offer.
These are frequently targeted at particular groups of residents such as over
50's, young people or single parents.
This is where your opportunity for free publicity lies!
|
|
|
City Works often refer people to employment agencies or directly to employers.
Therefore, they screen individuals before they apply for positions, which means
that if your company or organisation is looking for certain skills or
qualifications City Works can source these from the local people they meet.
|
|
City Works also provides booklets that hold various relevant leaflets in which
you could include your organisation's information.
To make life even easier, they can even distribute job application forms for you!
Please contact Sarah King if you are interested in these services,
have any information that you would like City Works to include in their
promotional packs, or are holding relevant events that you would like City Works to attend.
Email
sarah@constructionworks.org
or phone 01482 308730.
|
Please note the deadline for film ideas to reach the BBC is 31st October 06.
For further details and a full information pack, please contact
Olivia Cubberley on 01482 323232 or email
