Free MBA Place At Hull University!
|
Hull City Council has kindly offered to fund one place for someone from the
Vol/Com sector on the MBA Executive: Reaching out to the Public Sector course at Hull University.
This is a great opportunity for someone to undertake a top post-graduate course for FREE and earn a prestigious qualification. This course will be extremely beneficial to both the candidate and their organisation.
Details are as follows:
|
|
|
Duration and Structure - The Programme duration is 21 months, from October 2006 to July 2008. The MBA has thirteen modules delivered sequentially. These taught modules are scheduled to run between October 2006 and February 2008. Modules take place at the Business School. Each module is of four days' duration, running from the Thursday through until Sunday. This scheduling means that participants require 2 'out of office' days per module.
Thereafter, the final part of the MBA Programme involves participants completing a work-based dissertation. This element will be undertaken in the period between February and July 2008, during which time participants will be supported by individual consultations with their academic tutors, at mutually convenient times.
|
In addition, to help participants prepare for the Programme, the University will hold a 2-day induction session, scheduled to run on 20-21 September 2006.
Applications - Candidates will need to be aware of the
University's entrance criteria. Course information and entry criteria can be found at
www.hull.ac.uk/hubs (Courses / MBA / MBA Executive).
If you wish to find out more about this course or submit an expression of interest,
please contact Mike Scott at Hull CVS on 01482 324474.
Expressions of interest from appropriate candidates will be forwarded to the
University of Hull, who will make the final selection.
