Titanic Exhibition In Hull
By Sarah Tomlinson
I was doing the usual I can't afford anything shop around on Saturday when I spotted something a little bit different.
On the boards at the Maritime Museum I spotted an advertisement for a Titanic Exhibition.
Admittedly a fan of the film and intrigued by the whole subject surrounding Titanic, I entered.
It was actually, yeah I'm gonna say it..Cool. I was in a museum and was having fun..doesn't happen often.
They've got a variety of a mix of memorabilia from the film and actual objects recovered from the ship. I thought I'd share..
This was, in my opinion the most chilling of the items recovered from the wreck.
This is, Obviously, a watch, but look at the time. It stopped at 2.28am, 8 minutes after the ship submerged.
Here are 4 of the original costumes used while filming, obviously the most popular costumes, there's the sinking dress and the Jack, I'm flying dress too, also a dinner suit warn by the guy who plays Rose's fiancé in the film.
AND there's one for all you guy as well.. Yes, it's the picture. Drawn by James Cameron himself.
Sorry to all the gals who thought Leo could draw, but no, the director drew the pic.
Anyhow, if you want to see anymore you'll have to pop in and have a look.
Educational, you can pick up some goodies at the gift shop too.
And its one of the only things in 'Ull that's absolutely FREE!
I recommend it.
