Liberty-X February/March 2004 Tour Cancelled
From Hull City Council Press Office

Hull Arena regrets to announce that the forthcoming Liberty X tour has been cancelled by the artistsą management company. The chart topping group were due to play at Hull Arena on February 29th.

Clear Channel Entertainment made the following announcement today:
"We are very sad to announce that due to unforeseen requirements of their record label, unfortunately the Liberty X tour scheduled for next spring will have to be postponed until later in the year. Michelle, Kelli, Jess, Tony and Kevin, as well as their record label V2 are all extremely sorry to disappoint fans, but due to the pressures of their current international success, the band are required to travel extensively in Europe, and the Far East (where they will be launching the MTV Awards in Asia).

The UK leg of their tour will however be rebooked as part of a wider European tour, when the show will be even more spectacular, and the band look forward to seeing all of their fans then."

Hull Arena manager Linda Gawthorp said: "We are extremely disappointed the tour has been cancelled and all those people who bought tickets for the February concert will undoubtedly be feeling extremely let down. This is a decision taken by the artists' management company and is beyond our control. The Hull Arena can assure those who have purchased tickets from the box office that they will receive a refund on their tickets."
