Works by the Scottish Colourists lent from the Hunterian Art Gallery, University of Glasgow and The Fleming-Wyfold Art Collection, London

Intimate Friends highlights the Scottish Colourists' achievements as key players in the introduction of modern art in Britain, and among the most forward thinking British artists of the early 20th century.
The Colourists were attracted by the lively artistic life of Paris, spending varying periods in that city, and their work shows how they responded to the latest developments in French art.

The exhibition includes beautiful landscapes, some of the bright still-lifes that made the Colourists famous and flamboyant representations of the human figure.
