A Call To Arms .. Or at least to the pen or the keyboard..
By Rich Mills

If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next

There is currently underway a local history research project, in relation to the Basque Children who came to Hull as refugees, during the Spanish Civil War.

We are asking anyone with anything they have, or know about this subject area to urgently get in touch..

Any relatives, with oral histories to tell would be the greatest find ever!

We aim to develop the project into a video documentary, in the near future.
We feel such an important part of Hull's history should not be lost to time, particularly in the current climate.

We wish to celebrate at time when people stood on Paragon Station, waving flags, welcoming the refugees into our city. So please get in touch!
This is a piece of Hull's history we should all be proud of.

Send any information regarding the BASQUE CHILDREN of Hull or anything related to Hull and its connection with the Spanish Civil War, then please contact us at. Rich@thisisull.com
