HER Breast Friends Pink Pamper Day - Update Jan Jones

The local breast cancer charity HER Breast Friends certainly lived up to their motto last weekend as the power of the pink butterfly ladies spread throughout The Village Hotel and Leisure Club in Priory Park, Hull, the venue for the first HER Breast Friends Pink Pamper Day.

With the motto of Friendship, Determination, and Fundraising, the committee and members of HER Breast Friends showed their strengths in all three as their biggest event to date took place and sixty five local breast cancer patients from all over Hull and the East Riding were treated to a free day of pampering.
The day included a choice of complementary and beauty therapies, lunch and various workshops incorporating health, hair, beauty and style, and was staffed by complementary and beauty therapists, workshop facilitators and many more, all very kindly donating their time and skills.

Organiser, Jan Jones said, A big thank you must go out to all who were involved in the event. They have willingly given their time, skills, friendship and utter determination to make this event such an amazing success. We have received such positive feedback from all concerned, and everyone, from guests to therapists, and stallholders to visitors, enjoyed the day
With the launch of a Grand Raffle to be drawn in September, plans are already underway to start raising funds towards The HER Breast Friends Pink Pamper Day 2007. If you can help or would like further details please contact:
