Local Community Groups Information Needed For Carers' Centre Database
The Carers' Centre Hull on Prospect Street has a new project.
The new Carers' Community Development Project aims, over the course of two years,
to collate a database of local voluntary and statutory organisations that help carers and their families, both directly and indirectly.
The Carers' Community Development Worker, Rachel Potter, would like to hear from all local groups, including church groups or large or small voluntary organisation, so as to include them in the database.
A new Community Magazine will be regularly published detailing local groups and if you wish to be included, free of charge, then contact Rachel Potter on 225078. A visit by Rachel to your organisation can be arranged if required. Regular 'carers' workers' meetings are also to be arranged so that local groups can find out about what's available in Hull, and to meet colleagues who are in the same line of work. Details of these meetings will be published later in the year.
For any information please contact Rachel Potter, Carers' Community Development Worker, Carers'
Centre, 37 - 42 Prospect Street, Hull, HU2 8PX.
