Dave Fox New Studio Label
|
The expansive music career of writer/producer Dave Fox began in the late nineties.
With roots as a drummer on the live circuit, he owned and ran his first recording
studio (Angel Studios) in 1997. Working with many top local bands he spent the
years at Angel not only developing his talents as a producer, but developing his
surprisingly original talent as a song writer.
On the back of Angel Studios success Dave financed and recorded his first
collaborations with future band member Chrissie Ward. Inspired by the success
of this recording he went on to form Blind Frog Ernie in 2001.
|
|
|
With a prolific fusion of high octane balls awkward blues rock, BFE quickly
became one of the most popular bands of its time on the Northern circuit.
After a brief re-shuffle in 2003 BFE added to an already impressive back
catalogue with a further 5 studio albums.
|
|
Accompanied by a hugely popular live show, BFE's career led to U.K, U.S and
Australian airtime, live sessions for the BBC and appearances on U.S and Australian TV.
In 2006 Dave Fox went on to form Shaven Apes with BFE bass player
Mark Allsop,
releasing the darkly acclaimed Shave an Ape & Inner Sanctum on his newly formed
studio label.
|
Now in negotiations with film and music companies on the back of
this material, the music of Mr Fox is out there for the foreseeable future.

Music News, Biog - Lisa Lashes Biog.By Lisa Lashes
|
|
I grew up in a place called Holbrooks in Coventry with my mum, dad, 3 older sisters and 2 brothers; I am second from youngest. It's not always easy to live in such a big family, especially for my mum (!), but I'm lucky that they've always been ultra supportive with whatever I chose to do.
I went to John Shelton School in my early years and
