The Yo-Yo Indie Night will be leaving The Welly Club on Saturday 18th August 2007 and re-Launching at The Piper Club from Saturday 8th September 2007 (Loaded Indie Fridays at Piper with DJ Priya will continue as normal and won't be affected)
Statement from DJ Priya and Andiyo-yo (Yo-Yo Founders / Organisers)
|
|
|
We have taken the decision to put out this statement following leaked information which started to appear on the internet. We feel after many years at The Welly Club it is time for a change and we would like to point out that we made the decision to move ourselves.
|
|
The move is totally amicable between ourselves and The Welly Club and we are all still friends. We feel very proud of our part we have played at The Welly Club and we still plan to put on events there in the near future.
Our last Yo-Yo at The Welly will be on Saturday 18th August
after which Deja Vu will continue as normal.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish everybody at
The Welly Club all the best and to thank in particular
Dave Mays, Mark Hall and Alex O'Brien for all their help and support
over the past five years.
|
We are looking forward to taking Yo-Yo to the next level and feel that The Piper Club is the best venue to help make this happen. We would also like to thank all our customers for many years of loyal attendance at Yo-Yo at The Welly and hope that we can count on your continued support at The Piper. We won't let you down!
The first new look Yo-Yo at The Piper on
Saturday 8th September will be the biggest night of the year so far
featuring very special guests and of course, DJ Priya.
Keep watching our myspace for all the latest!

I went to John Shelton School in my early years and
