Win Tickets To See Lecorum Support The View
By Sarah Millstone

Lecorum www.myspace.com/lecorum are thinking fast. Having formed in the late summer of 2006 following discussions between Chris Howard (vocals, guitar), Damien Johnson (piano) and Joe Nicholson (drums), they then recruited bassist Johny Hamlin and it's been non stop ever since. Quickly compiling a set boasting a fine array of song writing talent and musicality, they showed they are far from shy of hard work.

In November, they signed to London based independent label Genik Records and a January tour was quickly set up featuring dates all over the UK, including sell out shows in Manchester and London.
Having received rave reviews as a support for Orson and The Sunshine Underground, in addition to performing to over 3000 people for a live web broadcast from The Bedford, 2007 promises to be an exciting year for the Hull based foursome.

Genik Records are currently offering the chance to win tickets to Lecorum's date with The View at York University May 5th - for a chance to win simply join the Lecorum guestbook ( www.lecorum.com ) and enter the word Ivan. Winners will be contacted by email in March. www.myspace.com/lecorum
