Music HQ Seeks Local Acoustic Acts
We are looking for local acoustic acts for Acoustic Wednesday and
Acoustic Clarence Gigs for July and August this year.
We are booking lots of national and international acts at Acoustic Wednesday particularly, and whilst this is great and means we are able to bring some brilliant fresh talent to the fair city of Hull, the night was originally set up to showcase and support local musicians and songwriters.
So, if you are based in Hull and East Yorkshire please get in touch to sort out a date in July and August, we would love to see you.
At the moment the format of Acoustic Wednesday is 4 acts
playing 25/30 minute sets with payment via share of the door takings.
The night is held at the very welcoming Tigers Lair club on Anlaby Road near Hull City Centre.
Attendances for the night are on the up which is good to see and swings between
20-60 at the moment, with Circus Envy holding the record for 100 paying customers a few months ago.
For people further afield, fear not for we are still happy to offer you gigs so still keep
getting in touch.
Acoustic Wednesday is a great midweek filler gig for tours hitting Lincolnshire and Yorkshire, as Hull is only an hour or so away from Leeds, Sheffield, Bradford, Lincoln and not that much further away from Manchester or the North East.
