Kirklees Councillors Try To Block License For Song07 Festival Please Email To Support Song 07 By Simon Foster and David Stead (Festival Organisers)

The official licence for the festival is now being processed and we need a show of support please to make sure Song07 www.myspace.com/song07festival gets the licence it needs. We have been warned that local councillors have raised a petition to try and stop the event taking place, but we are confident that all is well with our application.

We just need to show Kirklees licensing how important Song07 is culturally for West Yorkshire, we are aiming to create something that will enhance the integration of multicultural society in the area through the medium of music and create an event that will be talked about all around the world; as Cambridge Folk Festival and Womad have done before us.
