Hey guys! Hey gals! Guess who it is? It's Hey Negrita!!! This band might be based in London, but their sweeping Country-cradled rock sound has come via Nashville, Tennessee to a large degree. Indeed, Hey Negrita's brand of Americana revolves around some beautiful melodies and soulfully melancholic vocals from frontman Felix. Can't Walk Away is a chilled-out tune, propelled by subtle guitar and piano melodies, into and beyond the catchy There's nothing you can say; they're nothing you can do... Can't Walk Away from you chorus.

Taken from the band's second album, this single is backed by a couple of stunning B-sides in the finger-picked acoustic wonder of Lust And Bones (that gets right to the heart of aching Americana in elegant style), before the Lemon Jelly mix of Losing You steps-up with a slow pace that's magnificently heaped with haunting grandeur. Such B-sides are just as strong songs as the title track, and with their new Buzz Above album out now too, there's no excuse not to indulge in the magical music of Hey Negrita. No excuse at all.
