New song Cowboy Hill tells the story of equestrian love and has some choice
lyrical refrains throughout. Not one to sing to your kids but is highly
entertaining for the older ones.
Tonight Wainy, dedicates it to Johnny Cash;
I'd love to have known what the man in black would have made of the
lolloping rhythm and pseudo-cowboy balladeering.

Cowboy Hill immediately caught the imagination of the fun loving chanters in the crowd.
Yup those die hard P and R fans were hot-stepping down the front as the
temperature rose hotter than a Texan's butt after a bowl of chilli.
Yippee kaiyay.
Take Control and No Way Back had me, Steve Leonard and Haribo so much that
I ended up with a stitch. Thankfully the pain subsided for the finale.
I am the Buttbanger (but I wasn't tonight) is a hugely popular notorious
nay infamous number that is relentlessly catchy and whether you like it
or not stays bouncing in your head long after the last note.

Park and Ride always good value and if you show them some support they'll
reward it fivefold. Look out for the lyrics to Cowboy Hill appearing on
a website near you soon.

Yesterday was a very special day. Around five o'clock on Thursday evening, I was listening to
The Beautiful South sound check.
The hall was a hive of activity with technicians climbing rope ladders to the gantries,
erecting barriers at the front of the hall, and making ready for the first TBS gig
at the city centre venue for over 16 years.
