Ricky World Cup Single Release Date: 12th June 06

A charity-fundraising World Cup single featuring the voices of thousands of teenagers from Hull and the surrounding area is currently outselling the official FA anthem by Embrace. Ricky's We Are England single is released on June 12th with profits being donated to the NSPCC. The single features a sampled recording of the Soccer AM-inspired Easy, Easy.. chant.

The chant has been performed by 54,000 teenagers from 180 different English schools, including 5 schools from Hull and the surrounding region. The single is available to be pre-ordered from www.hmv.co.uk or it can be purchased from Monday 12th June from iTunes and other major digital retailers.
