Reality? Has Hull Got It Like That?

Over the last few months at local club nights we have been distributing free of charge the politically motivated CD single by Reality? - Has Hull Got It Like That?

Having given away over 2,000 copies, had several hundred downloads of the tune from www.realbeats.com and receiving air play on numerous Viking FM radio shows, we felt the time was right to let the readers know about this local anthem.
Free to download from www.realbeats.com the track is a reworking of the Pharrell Williams & Gwen Stefani song Can I Have It Like That? Being politically and socially minded Reality?

(Known locally for his live performances including hosting the massive roadblock events) has laced the first verse of the track with warnings of the date rape drug Rohypnol being abused in our clubs, a topic particularly relevant with a recent headline in the Hull Daily Mail being RUTHLESS DATE RAPE MONSTER JAILED FOR 18 YEARS.
In the second verse the song goes on to express opinions regarding Hull City Council's spending:

On and on it gets worse and worse,
the council wastes money when they open up their purse,
now the homeless got the biggest TV in the city,
But don't have a roof and well, that's the pity.
Commenting on some of the schooling problems Hull faces and touching on issues raised when Channel 4 named Hull The Worst Place to Live in the UK, the song ends with a third verse publicizing the 2007 Bicentenary of The Abolition Of The Slave Trade:

This is history not par for the course, Celebrate the life of William Wilberforce
The song goes on to announce the forth coming track by Reality? - I am the Truth which is dedicated to the memory of Simon Murden and the search for truth after he was shot and killed by Humberside Police on the 22nd of March 2005.

This song will be available free online and will be used to promote up coming African aid projects which will be carried out in Simon's name & memory, for more information see www.simonmurden.com

I am the truth is ready, and the presses are waiting, But the complaints commission is still debating...
If you haven't had chance to hear the tune, you can stream or download it for free at: www.realbeats.com
Thank You For Your Support. One Love.

Why did you form a band? Initially I think forming a band just seemed like a good idea, and I suppose it is. But a better reason would be because we wanted to make music we liked.
