Mr Mojo followed. This band really has been there, done it, bought the T-shirt. Mr Mojo has built up a loyal following over the years. Festival appearances at Glastonbury, Leeds and Reading have done no harm to their credibility. Whilst they might look a little of a mismatch, the image differences certainly don't transfer over into the music. Slimey Mike stands out as their outstanding track. The chordal piano track is similar to Oasis' Importance of Being Idle, and is equally infectious.

It's Just a Ride is a Foofighters style guitar driven song, and after listening to it on myspace, it's clear it really is a song best for a live audience. It will be nice to see Mr Mojo back on the live scene. The local audience hasn't had the pleasure of seeing them play on a consistent basis over the last 6 months. There's no point in me writing a bigger review. Everyone know's Mr Mojo, and they don't need any help from me. You really could do a lot worse than these guys. They might have been going for what seems to be decades, but have they lost their Mojo over the years? Certainly not.

Overall, a cracking night at The Mainbrace. It's a shame it wasn't publicised properly, and the bands there deserved a full house. It'll be nice to see them on the bigger stage very soon. Links - www.mrmojo.co.uk www.myspace.com/arcademusic
