Okay, so I'm kinda expecting a dressing down of Parent Magnitude for coming home late from Block (Hide & Seek in macho speak) 2 hours after your tea was put out. So maybe I should explain have I got time before I wash my hands & sit down to eat Meat Pie & Chips? Thanks.

Basically after the launch of my monthly ramblings I had Februarys all prepared and in the bag just waiting for me to proof-read!
Then all of a sudden my computer started moaning of headaches and stomach cramps, I thought nothing of it. When this got worse I considered booking into doctors but you're no longer allowed an appointment and have to queue at 7:30am, so again, left it.
Almost all at once it goes crazy starts shutting itself down with some New Malware virus for you eager beavers get that blocked in McAfee now, somewhere in your system 32 folder....anyway. So basically my computer has been on its sick bed for the last month and, even now, hasn't really shaken it due to my reluctance to wipe the hard-drive, due to my reluctance to saving ALL my music files to disk, due to FIFA 06!
Now I know that sounds like the 21st Century 'my dog actually ATE my homework' malarky that the correct spelling? Not even sure if it'd be in Collins 89th edition but it's the truth your honour.
So basically what I have done is rescued what notes I could from an earlier saved version of my Feb piece (that was left untouched by Malware 70666) and added to it with March's equally shambolic words of wisdom therefore, effectively, making the monthly column a BI-monthly column for one month only (or would that be two?), so effectively what would've been a month late is now on time.

Now that's spin that even Mr. Blair would be proud of....though actually he'd just probably come out on Australian telly and say he was forced into saying it was Monthly in the first place and never actually wanted it to be.
So below you will treated to months worth of intellectual musical texture (see what I did there) though I will try to keep it to a digestible size.
Right, if you're still reading after that then thanks, if not the... --- . . . Anyway, February, and after all the indie excitement of the start of the year, February represented mixed fortunes for our favourite genre, and indeed the music scene itself. In the forthcoming article we'll look over the return of R & B, the shambolic piss-up that is The Brits as well as looking forward to March and hopefully the return of some decent music to the charts. So although the month rolled over with a sense of achievement as the Arctic's parties left a sweet smell in the air, a severe morning after headache ensued, and all that was left was a load of empty Skol cans and half full Carlsberg bottles with soggy tab-ends floating in them.
By the time the white rabbits of February had blinked, tickets for the current flavour-of-the-months gig at Ice Arena had already been snapped up, tripled in value and stuck on Ebay; further securing the drug industry for another month.

Excitement turned to disappointment and soon the monotony of everyday life was welcomed back with the same joy as Gordon Brown showed Mr. Blair on his delayed South African return.
