Dialog - Feel EP (Deuce Management) By Steve Rudd

This band is interesting from the off, with all four of its members hailing from a different European country. Frontman Plamen is from Spain, and is clearly a terrifically talented singer, while lead guitarist Adam Petty is English through and through. Dialog ply a rare brand of rock music. The strong and catchy riffs do hark back to that Classic Rock era of the Sixties, yet there is a chilled-out tenderness to the music which means that there's no aggressive or intimidating edge, ensuring that this is rock music to appeal to people from all walks of life.

This EP is a three-track affair, with the title track of Feel being the first chance to hear Plamen's gruffly soulful vocals, before Out Of Control proves to be a hugely fun and lusty number that pits uber-cool high-pitched vocals into the fray, Scissor Sisters style. Down Again is presented last but not least, and is yet another vibrant marriage of awesomely versatile vocals and intricately melodic music, to such an extent that the Feel-good factor in fact tips off the scale in style.
