Press Release - Introducing Paparazzi Whore

Bass driven glam punk with attitude is how people are describing Paparazzi Whore. DJ Steve Lamacq is currently playing the first track I Don't Think So from their debut album I'd Rather be Infamous Than Famous. Also, Claire Sturgess from XFM has made them Unsigned Band of the Week. Pulse Rated Hot Trax are now playing the second track from the album (I'll Be Your Boyfriend) on their website. I Don't Think So reached number 8 in their chart in April. Paparazzi Whore are being played on all the Pulse Rate Radio shows (The A List, The Asylum etc.) You can hear the shows on their website, or on Sky channel 905 in the UK.

They are also getting regional play on Raw Talent (BBC Radio Humberside), BBC Radio Sheffield, Leeds and York etc. (Album of the Month in September), which is streamed across the worldwide web.

If you click onto the Music section you can see three videos shot by the BBC, which are being aired in Australia on Asylum TV (Channel 31). All three videos are on rotate and are syndicated to their sister company in New York. Video-c are now promoting Paparazzi Whore to a global audience of over 800,000 per month with the video to I Don't Think So. The band have also been interviewed by Roland UK/Boss for the July issue of their Power On magazine, and are soon to be on their updated site. This reaches a global audience for the band that has been hailed as one of the hottest new acts for 2005/2006.

BskyB are using their tracks for 'needle drops' for their sports programmes. The first track being used is Circuit Overload, for a motorsport programme.

At present Paparazzi Whore are uploading their tracks to various sites, and developing micro-sites to broaden their fan base. These sites include myspace.com (which has over 30 million hits worldwide) and Wildplum Network who help to arrange gigs in and around London.
