The Black Dogs - Headlining at YoYo at The Welly 2nd April

Chromium Records Band of the Month for March, The Black Dogs: are four hard hitting northern boys from Liverpool. Like their stage presence, their music is as eclectic and electric as it is loud.

The lad's music came together due to a shared passion for the blues and rock n roll. With influences such as Free, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Son House and Cream, The Black Dogs: define rock n roll. Rock is back........The Dogs are in town!

The Black Dogs: simply have to be seen live to experience their unique and powerful sound.
Known in their local town as a cross between the News York Dolls and Led Zeppelin, they are ashamedly big in sound and oozing in sleaze.

Based in Warrington, Cheshire the band boast a large following and have sold many copies of their releases locally. They have also played many successful gigs in Liverpool and have a large following from the University, as they are all students there.
To coincide with this a tour of the North they are due to release the band's next EP at a special launch event at WA1 in Warrington next month (date TBC).

This event is also the grand re-opening of the biggest and best venue in Warrington, which has hosted many signed bands in recent times. The band were invited for such a prestigious event due to their amazing stage performance and their immense support in the local area.
The band have recently had extremely successful slots in Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield and Lincoln where they are now developing a good local following and will be returning due to numerous invites from premier venues.
