Uberdruck at Substance - Welly Club - Friday 13th February 04 By Mike Mawe

Firstly I must say what an amazing atmosphere was created by the 350+ strong crowd at the Welly club that night. It was a wet and rainy night before Valentines day and I got the impression the guys from Basespin were expecting a poor turn out and with problems flying in Uberdruck from Germany, things started to look tense. The pranksters turned up at 9 to set their live studio gear up.

With only an hour to go, no one thought it was possible but after a great team effort the guys pulled it off and sure enough, when they stepped up to the stage the crowd were having it! There was not one person sitting down for the duration of their set.

The sound system was booming and everyone had smiles on their faces. The music just got harder and louder throughout the night and everyone went ballistic. By the time Uberdruck got there the people were ready and he didn't disappoint them, so all in all a great night out and if you like hard dance it looks like this is the night to be seen at.
