The Suitcase Kid by Jacqueline Wilson
Reviewed By Susan Wykes

I really liked this book because I really understood how the girl felt.

Andy's parents have lots of arguments and decide to split up.

They all go and see a counsellor; the counsellor tells Andy if she would like to stay at house A (her mums) for one week and then go to stay at house B (her dads) the next week. But Andy has other plans, and wants to stay the just the three of them in Mulberry Cottage.

The counsellor tells Andy that that's not possible because Mum and are not happy together. Both of her parents find other families and go to live them. Andy's Mum finds A
Andy gets the flu and has to stay at her Mum's when she's meant to be going to her Dad's. Her Dad barges into Andy's bedroom and says that she's fine. Andy ends up staying at her Mum's.

The ending was quite happy, because Andy ended up having a new little baby sister called Zoe.

On Wednesday night I went to Dance Paradise at Lexington Avenue with two of my mates; India and Louise. Kids Articles - Fisher Park By Richard Clancy, Kayleigh Gouldson and Taking Pictures By Kyle
I went to Fisher Park to make a film and take photographs of the local area. I think that the graffiti on Fisher park 'sucks' because graffiti is horrible. It makes the area look worse than it already is. I like living on Orchard Park, but it doesn't look very nice. The older youths in the area make it worse with all the graffiti they spray all over the place. Read more...
