Halo 2 is one of the finest games I have ever seen!
If I had to rate this game on a scale of 1 to 10 I'd have to give it a definite 10.
This is because of the story line.
If action is your cup of tea then Halo 2 is the game for you.
|
Unfortunately as far as I know the Limited Collectors Edition of Halo 2 is sold out
and will never be available for purchase again, the Limited Collectors Edition has a
bonus DVD which has the making of Halo 2 and lots of other features.
I thought the Limited Collectors Edition of Halo 2 was well worth the price of £45.00!
Halo 2 is available as the normal version on the XBOX for £35.00.

Halo 2 starts where Halo 1 left off.
As Master Chief returns to earth he is greeted back to the human race with
comfort of a few medals for being a hero.
But as things where running smoothly Cortana (an artificial intelligence holographic
woman) sees some very large attack ships belonging to none other than The Covenant.
|
|
The Covenant come to earth seeking to destroy every living human who gets in their
way so they can fulfil the prophecy called The Great Journey.
|
The Covenant believe that The Great Journey will make them even more powerful
than they already are by activating at least 1 of the 8 rings which also activate the rest of them.
Then they can be used to destroy every living thing on earth, or so they are told by The Prophets.
When in actual fact if any 1 of the Halo's are activated and their main
firing mechanisms are activated then so will all the others destroying everything in the galaxy.
|
|
|
There are only two things that stand in The Covenant's way now and that is the human
race and the return of the dreaded Flood.
|
|
Vehicles
There are new vehicles like Shadow (pictured) which is capable of carrying a driver,
a man on a turret and 2 passengers holding on the wings that make a pretty strong attack vehicle.
Lots more to discover in the game too.
|
Weapons
New weapons like the SMG, Corbine and Energy Sword make the game way better than Halo 1.
An improvement to The Needler also works best with the Covenant Plasma Rifle for a
large scale killing spree!
My Comments
Excellent graphics and game play with a new gaming engine that makes Halo 1 look like Roadkill.
It's well worth buying.
I would recommend this title to any gamer who likes Sci-fi action-adventure games and has an XBOX.

The other day I went to the UGC cinema in Hull to see 5 Children and It.
It was a very good film, based on a book by E. Nesbit. It's about 5 children
(surprise, surprise! I can't remember their names, though!) who get sent to live
with their loopy uncle in the country during the

Kids Night Club Reviews - Dance Paradise at Lexington Avenue - 29th September 2004 By Annie

On Wednesday night I went to Dance Paradise at Lexington Avenue with two of my mates;
India and Louise.
I couldn't wait for the night to get started and even though I have been out in town tons of times before,
I still had butterflies.
Approaching the crowd of well over 500 teenagers, it really hit me:

Fisher Park By Richard Clancy, Kayleigh Gouldson and Taking Pictures By Kyle

|
I went to Fisher Park to make a film and take photographs of the local area.
I think that the graffiti on Fisher park 'sucks' because graffiti is horrible. It makes the area look worse than it already is.
I like living on Orchard Park, but it doesn't look very nice. The older youths in the area make it worse with all the graffiti they spray all over the place.
