It's their anniversary and he's taken her to the pizza place He's then paying for some pills to make them feel like they're in interplanetary space He gets on her good side by doing odd jobs around her mums flat You'll see him on your council estate flogging this and that His idea of the perfect day is a long romantic walk around Ikea Then nipping off to Primark to buy all his best gear He's always borrowing next doors kid to go to the football 'Cos its two pounds cheaper otherwise he wouldn't go at all

For her birthday he's taking her on holiday to Tenerife And where he gets the money from is beyond my belief But he doesn't care about that as he's chatting up the lasses But he doesn't stand a chance as these girls are from upper classes He's one of those blokes you wouldn't want to bring home to your mum If he lived in America he'd either be called a hobo or a bum He reckons he's from a posh middle class family But what else can I say apart from that he's from Barnsley Wouldn't you love to be in love on the dole?
