Night Fever
By Dominic Abbott
|
Often when all the decent people are in bed
Not knowing what's going over their head
Ladies of the night on their own street corner
Yuppie type men wishing to be the next customer
Joanne, Joanne they cry
Ogling at her with their good eye
Knocking on decent people's doors at midnight
Imagine finding a suit laden man in your garden
No? well just think what could be there in the morning light
God help you may say bring me pardon
Maybe tonight you may say a pray for these souls
I insist you do
Some day that could be you
Some day you could be in a hole
