DOC is creating a new Community Enterprise Centre to deliver a pioneering new approach to community development by providing an innovative mix of shared office, events and training space, combined with social enterprise support.

This is a challenging and rewarding project that needs a highly motivated team to develop it. Initially we are seeking three enthusiastic and committed individuals to drive forward this exciting new venture. The new Hull Community Enterprise Centre is a unique and pioneering project that demands a pioneering leader and facilitator.

The successful candidate will manage the new centre and lead a team of three (rising to six) enthusiastic people in facilitating and encouraging entrepreneurial skills within Hull's community and voluntary sector. Experienced in business or social enterprise management and support, you will need proven skills in securing new business and funding, It is essential that you bring to this post the commercial acumen and vision to grasp the opportunities available to the Centre, together with high level relationship management skills and a commitment to improving the services we offer to our customers and stakeholders.

Experience with or within the public or not-for-profit sector would also be beneficial.
