Access Space is an open-access internet learning centre where participants learn, create and communicate online. The software is cutting edge, but costs nothing, while the hardware used in the space is recycled - saved from the 3000+ PCs which Britain throws out every day.
Access Space focuses on creative engagement, providing a launch pad for constructive digital activity for anyone who wants to get involved. With an ongoing arts programme and community based projects, Access Space is a positive learning environment in which users learn by doing and developing their own projects.

Access Space is looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised individual to co-ordinate the administrative aspects of the organisation. The successful candidate will be
Salary is £14,000 (pro rata) Hours 22.5 per week (0.6 full-time-equivalent). Access Space opens Tuesday to Saturday, 11am - 7pm, but hours can be arranged flexibly to fulfil the responsibilities of the job.
Holiday entitlement is 12 days (20 days FTE) in the first year. Responsible to the Access Space Manager.

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for:
-
Co-ordinating office administration and information systems,
from post and filing through to producing appropriate reports
and record keeping.

To co-ordinate meetings and diaries.
-
Recording statistics and usage of Access Space by participants,
for evaluation and monitoring purposes.
-
Being a point of contact and source of information for callers,
participants and visitors when required.
