Sustainable Food Education Officer - Closing Date : 15th September 2006- Vacancy Filled

The University of Bradford School of Lifelong Education and Development are looking for a highly motivated professional to work on sustainable food focused teacher-training programmes across Yorkshire and Humber region. The post holder's work will include: The development of rural-urban school networks, working on whole school approaches to sustainable food issues in and around the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks The facilitation of sustainable food focused teacher training workshops, working with a wide range of strategic partners across Yorkshire & Humber region.

Job ref : RCW1213. Salary £28,010 - £31,525 per annum. Fixed-term contract to March 2009. The ideal candidate should have substantial teaching experience. They will have strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal abilities, but above all have a real passion for embedding sustainable food issues within our region's primary and secondary schools. This post can be offered as a secondment opportunity and applicants are welcome to apply on a part-time/job-share basis. Closing date is 15th September 2006.
