Longhill Link-Up Trust are looking for a Learning Support Worker (Children and Young People) 37 hours per week. Salary Scale NJC Scale 5 £18,450.00 - £20,235.00. Longhill Link-Up Trust is a Christian charity working in the Longhill area of East Hull, delivering a variety of services aimed at meeting local needs. One of the key characteristics of the area is a history of low educational attainment leading to high levels of unemployment. The purpose of this post is to engage local young people in alternative learning, mainly within the Cyber Centre so that they can gain skills and basic qualifications that will help them towards reaching their full potential in education, training and employment.

The post holder needs to be a suitably qualified person with a background in young people's education and/or youth work and experience of working with teenagers and young adults. The nature of the post necessitates that a significant proportion of the working time will be in the evenings and may include Saturday.
